As a HumbleObedientTempleworthy member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, what else would I put here but...
and then of course... testimony time! In Moroni 10:3-5, the prophet Moroni says, "Behold, would exhort you that when ye shall read these things, if it be wisdom in God that ye should read them, that ye would rmemeber how merciful the Lord hath been unto the children of men, from the creation of Adam even down until the time that ye shall receive these things, and ponder it in your hearts. And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost. And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things."
I have followed this scripture and have prayed to know if the Book of Mormon is indeed true and through the testifying power of the Holy Ghost, I know without a shadow of a doubt that it is. If this book is true, and I know that it is, then it means that the rest of the doctrines taught in the LDS church must be true also. That Joseph Smith was a true prophet called to restore the true church to the Earth and that President Thomas S. Monson currently guides the church today. It means that the priesthood power has been restored to the Earth and that through it we can repent, be baptized and confirmed, and receive all the saving ordinances of the temple in order to live with our families forever.
